Keith’s  Advice
Keith’s advice is a project responding to a brief which required
a meaningful experience to be explored in any format.

Keith is an eldery man I met on a morning walk,
we stopped and had a conversation as two strangers
just saying hello. Keith told me his life story
which was incredibly motivating and continued
to give really helpful advice which I actually needed at the time.
I’ve never seen Keith since and it was a beautiful one time
interaction that will stay with me forever.

This is how Keith’s advice came into play. I took real life scenarios from
friends or stories I’d heard of before and categorised them using colours.
The front of the card explained the situation and on the back is the
advice I felt Keith would have gave. I used embossing techniques
for the box as well as vinyling.

Keith’s Way
Keith’s way is a follow on project from Keith’s advice but
exploring branding and identity more.

I chose to create a run club based on Keith due to
that being his hobby. The project features branding
from posters to a starter kit as well as publication
design for the manifesto. I chose to focus the identity
on the area that I met Keith, Princes Park in Liverpool,
and use the satelite tracing of the park as an emblem
which is the loop featured across many items.

Women In Westminster:

My university course featured a two week live client brief
where we were given real projects to work on.
I chose to take on The House request for a front cover
for their Women In Westminster magazine.

My design was the winning one and was published as a result.

JoJo
JoJo is the most recent project I’ve been working on and is based on my Mum.

With my Mum going through a tough time in terms of her health and the menopause,
I created JoJo in the hope to inspire other women going through similar issues
and to promote the topic overall.

JoJo is a makeup brand made for premenopausal and menopausal women.
If there is one thing that makes my Mum feel better, It is getting up and
putting her makeup on. One of the most important aspects of that is
the coral lipstick that she wears every single day
which explains the choice of coral for the branding.

With statistics showing that the menopause affects womens
self confidence and body image,I felt a makeup brand was
the right way to encourage a method for women to improve their mood.

Walls That Talk
Walls That Talk is a collaborative project with three friends which explores
nightlife in liverpool and the graffiti you can find all over.

With the clubbing scene dying, we wanted to create a brand that brought
it back to life and made it more memorable. We started by exploring the
clubs and taking photographs of all the graffiti we could find. From this
we made a publication which documented our findings and gave statistics
on the difference between male and female enscriptions.

The app is a way to document your own findings as well as purchase merch.

As we wanted this to be inclusive, the dictionary is a fun mix of definitions
and illustrations which explains the slang and phrases we found.

Plastistics
Platistics is a follow on project from my dissertation which explored the question
Can graphic design drive authentic sustainability in the food and drink packaging industry.

During the research process, I discovered the ways in which humans consume
plastic due to the masses of waste we throw away and litter. I created an online
exhibition which includes my own anti-marketing design’s and experiments as
well as others I analysed in my dissertation.

Plastistics was created in the hope to influence others to be more conscious
of their choices when it comes to waste and packaging.

About

Hello! I’m Esme,

I’m a graphic designer, and truthfully, I do what I do simply because I love it. I live for the simple things in life,
and my favorite part of the creative process is finding the deeper meaning within them. Having a keen eye
for detail helps me spot those tiny elements that make a project truly stand out.

Beyond the aesthetics, I’m a firm believer that great design should be as functional as it is beautiful.
Whether I’m building a brand identity from scratch or playing with packaging design,
my goal is always the same: to create intentional, high-impact work that hits every objective.
I’m a meticulous worker, a curious learner, and I’m ready to bring a fresh, thoughtful perspective to your next project.
